Region IV Championships for Team 6. These photos are available from

We have many other photos from other
meets available as well, and we're always accepting new submissions.
You can
e-mail them, scan them, put them on a CD-ROM or simply drop them off
at one of the gyms (make sure that if you do that you put a note with them
"ATTN: Chris Steelman" and contact info if you want the originals returned
to you). We love receiving and sharing these photos. In the
coming weeks we will be making some new video slideshows as a compilation of
the season, so to have your photos possibly included in this popular media
presentation... get 'em in ASAP!!! Thanks!

Regional Results
 The
results from the 2006 Region IV Championships
have been posted, and we have a couple of
updates/observations to share with everybody.
Team 5 capped off their season
with a complete sweep of the year by taking first place
at the Region IV Championships, and Lukas Texeira earned
first place in the all-around with a 57.05. Other
clubs may want to talk about "dominating" a meet or two,
but this team "dominated" the entire season by taking
first place at each and every meet. And if team
success wasn't already enough, they also managed to take
the all-around first place in every meet as well,
including every first place when age groups were
separated. They had such depth with different boys
stepping up each meet to help contribute to the team's
overall success. To call it a fantastic season
would be an understatement. Congratulations, boys,
and the best of luck as you begin your training for next
year's season.
The Team 6 boys had a very good meet with both individual and team success. They managed to put together some of their best routines of the whole year, even though the scores didn't always reflect these marked improvements. Team 6 took the second place trophy for their efforts. The parents, friends and family on hand for the event cheered them on through the entire meet and showed a great deal of pride in the boys' accomplishments at the end of the competition. The boys can also be proud for all their hard work and growth over the past year as they continue to work on existing and new skills. Great job, guys!
And speaking of success (thanks to an
e-mail report from Marty)... There are the Team 10 boys. Garrek Hojan-Clark, Donovan Koeberl, Danny Kuklinski, Ty
Smith and Reid Urbain all qualified for J.O. Nationals. And to add victory on to glory, Team 10 ages 16-18 took home the first place trophy as they where crowned the 2006 Region IV Team Champions.
Team 9 boys had 2 gymnasts' hard work and dedication pay
off for them as well; Alex Behling and
Tylor Martyniak both qualified for J.O. Nationals. Congratulations, guys!

J.O. National Championships
The Boys Are Back In Town... From Houston,
TX
 Our
level 9 & 10 boys were in Houston, TX
May 5th-8th for the 2005 J.O. National
Championships. Here are links to the competition

results. Congratulations to all who participated and
great job on a wonderful season gentlemen. |

Regional Championships
Gymnasts... Salute!
Teams 5, 6, 7, 9 & 10
were off and tumbling
April 9th & 10th at the Regional
Championships at the University of Iowa.
Gymnasts in levels 5, 6 & 7 finished strong as teams
and closed out their competition season while levels 9 & 10 were competing for the opportunity to continue on
with their season at the J.O. National Championships to be held in Houston,
TX May 5th through May 8th.
- Team 10 made it 6
for 6 by taking 1st place again.
- Team 9 took 3rd place against some
very tough teams.
- Team 7
also competed to a 3rd place
finish.
- Team 6 finished 2nd with a full team effort and
strong routines.
- Team 5 had a 6th place finish against stiff competition.
All team and individual results are now posted at the
Region IV site.
